The Riad

Riad Dar Yema is a 17th-century property situated in an alley of the ancient Medina of Marrakech, just 5 minutes from Jemaa el Fna square. This Riad underwent complete renovation in 2016 and comprises six rooms, including a ground floor suite and five rooms on the first floor, all equipped with reversible air-conditioning. Guests can enjoy a panoramic terrace showcasing spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains.

the staff were so nice and helpful they gave great tips for getting around. the riad is clean this really added to the experience. i particularly loved the convenient location close to many attractions
i noticed a need for better signage near the entrance navigating with luggage could be easier

The airport transfer was convenient! it really eased my arrival. the hosts offered thoughtful touches. I received little gifts and treats, a nice surprise. the bedroom featured a proper moroccan vibe, immersive and authentic. the location was also ideal, and i enjoyed the short walk to the main square.
i requested the air conditioning be fixed, but it unfortunately wasn't addressed .

faulty air conditioninglow water pressure
the air conditioning unit in the room was not working properly it was very hot at night making it hard to sleep comfortably i reported this to the staff but the repair did not happen the water pressure in the shower was also quite low making it difficult to rinse off soap and shampoo effectively i wish these issues had been addressed more promptly to improve my overall experience
